Short Story Workshop for Kids

I believe it’s important for grammar school kids to learn how to write stories.

One of the stumbling blocks the kids encounter is how to develop the ideas necessary to create the story. They need ideas on character development, story setting and plot.  Another stumbling block is how to incorporate all those ideas into the story.
For several years, I”ve given talks in local schools and libraries addressing these issues and showing kids how to do it.
The response from the kids has been great.
Now, using a new software program called Padlet, I recorded the talk in a series of short vidoe clips and put them and the suppporting information onto a single web page.
I did this to show more kids outside of my local area how to go about writing a story.  The webpage has no ads and videos are free to watch.   The sole purpose is to instruct the kids while showing them how to have fun while writing a story.
The workshop is intended for kids in grades 4 through 7.
